Posted - 06/30/2010 : 01:31:39 I have a Solar water controller BRXCTRSIRS that I have been using to control a hose with several spray nozzles inside a greenhouse where I keep my orchids. This is a cool watering controller as it does not need external power or battery change. The Sun charges rechargeable batteries on it and it keep running days if cloudy and if it rains the controller will not turn the water ON. The hose with the nozzles I bought at Home Depot and I had to cut it in 3 pieces and reconnect in such a way that it would cover the area I wanted. Still, there are not enough nozzles and I don't want to add more hoses, like the type I bough at the Home Depot, because they have their nozzles on a spacing that is too far apart and require a lengthy hose. I am looking for a type of nozzle that would make a very fine mist and that could be added to a generic hose or maybe a transparent plastic one. Having the nozzles spaced as needed would avoid having more and more hoses entangling on the walls. Any ideas where I can find the parts to make it? The spray tips that come on the Home Depot hose is a kind of junction and connects parts of the hose using a T with the connectors built that also swivels to direct the spray jet. The solution I have now is very good for the orchids and it delivers a very fine mist and I have it set for 10 minutes twice a day. Since I started this setup I can see that the leaves are much healthier and also the blooming has more flowers. Thanks. |
